B-SQUARED LIVING-“Stay Squared”
Two week project: Re-use of containers to create student housings.
Reasonable apartments for students are often both hard to find and very expensive.
Transforming containers into an enjoyable and functional living space for students and young people can be a step on the way in finding a solution to this problem.

“Shipping container architecture” is a form of architecture. Steel shipping containers can be used as structural element as they have an inbuilt and natural strength and are relatively low in cost. Another reason why containers are becoming more and more desirable is that there is a wide availability and used containers are available across the globe.
Other than for apartments and office buildings containers have also been used as school buildings, movable exhibition spaces on rails, transportable factories, hotels, medical clinics, recording studios, radar stations, and experimental labs.
